Pre-Book FAQs



Now that I've pre-booked, what do I do?

If you have already pre-booked your room, please wait for an e-mail from us with further instructions about how and when to place your reservation. If you do not, please e-mail chtravel (at) caribbeanholidaze.com.

When does Caribbean Holidaze go on sale?

The general on-sale date for Caribbean Holidaze 2009 will be announced shortly.

Where can I place my reservation?

Starting in April we will begin processing our pre-books by the order they were received in. Every one of our pre-bookers will be e-mailed a "token" and booking time to log into the booking engine.


What information will I need to place my reservation?

Before placing your reservation, make sure you have all of the following info for all of your guests:
You will be asked to provide an emergency contact person (1 per room).

Each guest will also be asked which artist brought them to the event. You will be given a choice of all individual artists or "the event itself." Please have an answer prepared for all of your guests.

If you are unsure of who your guests will be at the time of booking, you can create a placeholder on the reservation site. Each guest will pay a $35 processing fee. The fee will be applied to both guests at time of booking.

If you are paying with multiple credit cards, you will need all of the credit card numbers (with expiration date and card verification number) as well as the billing addresses for each card.

What type of payments are accepted?

Caribbean Holidaze accepts most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Checks and money orders are also acceptable forms of payment; please make them out to Cloud 9 Adventures and send them to us at:

What's a token?

A "token" is simply the password that you will use to login to the pre-reservation process. Only one room can be booked per token and tokens are non-transferable. Any reservation placed where the "Lead Guest" (the person that placed the reservation) is not the token holder will be cancelled.

What's a Caribbean Holidaze ID?

Each Caribbean Holidaze guest will have a unique Caribbean Holidaze ID that they will create that along with an additionally chosen password, will allow you to log into your reservation to make changes, additions, payments, etc. Pre-bookers will receive an e-mail shortly on how to create their IDs.

What if I didn't pre book? When can I place my reservation?

If you did not pre-book your room, you will need to wait to place your reservation when the event goes on sale to the public.

Pre-Event FAQs


Are there any discounted deals on airfare?

Cloud 9 Adventures is working hard on getting the best rates for our fans to travel to Jamaica. We will soon have details on the official Caribbean Holidaze airline.

Can I extend my trip?

Come Early, Stay Late! We realize that 4 days in beautiful Jamaica may not be enough for some of our fans. For this reason, Cloud 9 Adventures is offering a special rate for those guests who want to add a few extra days to their stay at each resort. You have the option of adding up to four additional days to your stay for $189.00 a night per person. These rates are available for December 8, 9, and 14, 15. Take advantage of this special rate to enjoy a few extra days and all of the resorts' super-inclusive accommodations!

What should I pack?

Weather in the Caribbean this time of year is generally warm. But since most of the shows will be taking place outdoors in the Caribbean, there is the chance of it being cool. We suggest bringing some warm clothing just to be on the safe side. Other than that, anticipate wearing t-shirts and shorts pretty much the entire time. Bring your cameras and enough film to capture the entire event, ear plugs, sunscreen, bathing suit, rain gear.

What should I NOT pack?

No illegal substances, alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, food, weapons, or pets. The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at Caribbean Holidaze. All laws pertaining to drug use should be respected.

When do we check in / check out?

Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11:00 am.

What documents do I need?

You MUST have a valid passport. There are NO exceptions.





Event Information


What is included with my fare?

All resort accommodations, resort to resort transportation, all service charges, all government taxes, all meals, drinks, and all onboard entertainment and most activities. For more information on what is included please visit our "What is Super-Inclusive" Page.

How much money should I bring?

One of the best parts about a SuperClubs Super-Inclusive vacation is the fact that once you're here, you won't need to spend another penny. However, should you decide to visit some of the local attractions or take advantage of some of the outstanding bargains, you will need money, We will be happy to exchange currency on the premises. The Jamaican dollar is the legal tender in Jamaica. Most merchants will accept US dollars or traveler's cheques, as well as major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

What will I need money for once checked in?

While at the resorts, there are certain activities that do incur extra costs. Please refer to What is Super-Inclusive.

Are there ATM's at the resort?

Yes

What electric current do you work on?

110 volts, 50 cycles in Jamaica and 110 volts, Plugs are of the 2-pin type. Hair dryers are provided in every room.

Do you have anywhere I can keep valuables?

Every room at every resort is equipped with a safe deposit box. We advise all guests to store their jewelry, cash and other valuables in this secure place. Cloud 9 Adventures LLC cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Is all the music at the resorts, or will there be shows elsewhere?

All performances will take place at the resort locations.

When will the music schedule be available?

The schedule for Caribbean Holidaze will be posted a few weeks before the event. We want to make sure that you'll be able to see each and every band on board perform an entire show, so they'll be no overlapping. No two bands will perform at the same time twice.

What sort of activities will be planned besides music?

We are working with the artists to have them each be a part of something special at the event. Seeing as this is one of the most intimate experiences to ever take place, we feel it's important for those taking part to experience things they wouldn't otherwise be a part of. Music workshops, autograph signing sessions, fan friendly events and other forms of non-music entertainment are being planned as we type this.

How many meals do we get a day?

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, plus various buffet style snack times. You'll be ashamed at how much you've put away by the last day.

Will Vegetarian meals be served?

The resorts have a wide variety of food available to guests with various dietary needs. Vegetarian meals will be an option at each meal throughout the resorts.

Is there any dress code at the event?

Think resort casual for the entire time, There are some areas which are both clothing optional and Au Natural. However stay tuned to Activities Announcements for special dress up theme nights.

Can I bring my kids?

Sorry, 18 and over only.



Can I wash my clothes while I travel?

All rooms are equipped with an iron and ironing board, but we'll be happy to take care of all your laundry and dry cleaning at a reasonable charge. Just be sure to contact the housekeeping department and they will have your items returned to your room in 24 hours.

How much do I tip?

Tipping is simply not permitted at SuperClubs. We cannot emphasize this enough. Your courtesy, respect and a sincere 'thank you' are all we ask. However, tipping is customary for all airport baggage personnel, cab drivers etc..

Is Scuba Diving Included?

At the resorts scuba is included, we will happily provide all necessary Scuba gear but you're free to bring your own equipment. If you are qualified, bring an international 'C' card or a certificate from an internationally recognized dive school. If not, you will have to take a swimming test. After passing, you will need to have a current diving medical certificate or obtain from a local physician. We can arrange this for a small charge.

What kind of sun protection do I need?

It gets hot beneath the Caribbean sun, so we recommend you come prepared. Be sure to bring strong protection against the sun:
sun screen
suntan lotion
sun glasses
hats & visors
Whatever you need can be purchased at the resort if you happen to leave them at home.

Are there any gift shops on the premises?

If you're looking to bring back more from your vacation than a lifetime of memories, try the SuperClubs gift shop. You'll find a wide assortment of wonderful gifts for those special people you left behind.

Are there any medical facilities at the resorts?

A registered nurse with regular office hours is on the premises at every resort. In the event of a medical emergency, a qualified medical doctor is on call 24 hours a day. If a doctor is called there will be a charge. Guests with any pertinent medical information or specific medication needs are asked to notify the resorts in advance.





Policies and Procedures


Zero Tolerance

Cloud 9 Adventures, LLC, has a zero tolerance policy regarding the use, possession, purchase or distribution of illegal controlled substances. Any violation of this policy will result in ejection from the event and resort as well as the individuals being turned over to the local law enforcement officials for appropriate legal action. In such cases Cloud 9 Adventures, LLC shall not be liable for any refund or other compensation or damages.

Can we sell/vend?

Due to prior agreements, NO VENDING OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED during Caribbean Holidaze. As a result, any and all vending at Caribbean Holidaze is prohibited. Please do not make t-shirts, hats, posters, jewelry or anything else to sell while enjoying Caribbean Holidaze. Anyone found in violation of this policy will have their unauthorized merchandise confiscated. This policy will be strictly enforced.

What is Caribbean Holidaze's official taping policy?

Caribbean Holidaze would like to establish this policy to assure that the needs of everyone are met and balanced. A special taping section will be located behind the mix position in each venue when possible space in the taping section is first-come first-serve. You are allowed to clamp onto existing stands.

Please stay out of the way of the working crew/soundman and do not set up equipment in a way that would impair them to do their job properly. SBD's are not available due to professional recording companies working for the Caribbean Holidaze.

Wireless receivers are strictly prohibited.



Taping at Caribbean Holidaze is authorized for non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized sale, duplication and/or distribution is strictly forbidden. All Caribbean Holidaze performances and recordings are the exclusive property of Caribbean Holidaze. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading, and/or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary.
